Setup instructions

Use a DNS4ME Apple TV configuration profile to set up Secure DNS. This profile is installed on your Apple TV using a profile URL.

Before you begin

Complete the initial setup, register your public IP in IP Access Zones, and enable your services. Update the zone if your public IP changes.

Choose a profile

Choose the location closest to you and enter its profile URL on your Apple TV. Anyone who knows a profile URL can download it; these links do not expire.

Install the profile

  1. From the Apple TV main menu, open Settings.
  2. Go to General > Privacy.
  3. Highlight Share Apple TV Analytics without selecting it, then press Play on the remote.
  4. Select Add Profile, enter the Apple TV profile URL, and select Done.
  5. On the Install Profile screen, select Install. Select Install on the warning and confirmation screens, then select Done.
  6. Return to Settings > System > Restart.

Only install a profile from a source you trust. If you have trouble, contact support.
